dromoi-zois is an ngo that tries to assist socially
excluded children and their families. we do that, mainly by assisting children to their school difficulties but also by providing moral and psychological support to them and their parents.
very recently we decided to start having culinary lessons for the children. the children got very excited about that and we started a few weeks ago. we have 4 volunteers teaching cooking to 8 children, one volunteer every saturday. bringing the soup to Gazi (our neighborhood) and explaining to the children the meaning of this project is very interesting for them and maybe serve as an opportunity to open their horizons to other cultures and they will feel they participate in something like a chain that joins them together not only with the Greeks but also the citizens of Europe.
