				 You go to the market with a friend(Gerda)to dig up some seasonal vegetable: zucchini, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, a lot of herbs. 
- peel, rinse, cut up middle-sized 
- place in cold water and cook until tender 
- meanwhile mince herbs 
- crumble bread, roast in plenty of butter 
until crispy, season with salt and pepper 
- puree vegetable with stock and  
add herbs, salt and 0,5l jahressuppe 
season to taste 
- serve soup with hot, roasted chunks of bread, soured cream and chives.
