				 ingredients: 
 
1x leek 
2x carrot, 
1/2 knob celery, 
2x onion, 
200g bacon 
1x chicken (normal not a casserole fowl) 
200ml sherry 
salt 
pepper 
olive oil 
parsley 
 
Preparation: 
 
cut all ingredients, except chicken,into pieces (not so small p.e. carrot into 
3 parts). place all stuff in a big pot, roast gently and pour in 100ml sherry, 
2l water and here 500ml travelling soup, bring to simmer for 1,5 hours, take 
out chicken and carrots and cut it into bite-sized pieces, sieve the soup,  
remove all the other ingredients, degrease the soup with paper towel, add  
chicken meat, carrots and the rest of sherry, season with salt and pepper 
and garnish with parsley.
