pasta (rice-shaped noodles), salt and pepper; 
 
bring finely cut vegetable to a boil with water as required. simmer 
for about 45min until tender. 
add pasta, salt, pepper and tomato puree, continue boiling until pasta is softened; finally add best olive oil.
