diary: Greek soup diary 10

1/2 chicken
1/2 cup oliveoil
1 onion, chopped
1/2 pepper red
1/2 pepper green
1/2 pepper orange
1 tomato, grated
1 TL chilli, salt, black pepper
200g soup garnish (small pasta)

boil the chicken and take off the meat from the bones in small pieces.
brown the onion in olive oil not too dark.
add for 1 min the peppers and the pasta, and then add the broth and the spices. Boil for another 5-6 min. give the soup some more time in the pot before being served.

alike all the islands traditional cooks we took only lokal ingriedients. the cockerel came from my mother’s yard (the other halve was served as a main course with maccaroni) and the vegetables (also the one served for salad and mesas) were grown in our garden. the wine was from Tinos aswell. γεια σας !
